Where is Calvin located?

Calvin's 390-acre campus is located in a suburban setting of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Approximately 650,000 people live in the metro area, providing ample opportunities for jobs,service-learning, and entertainment.

Calvin is a short drive from downtown Grand Rapids and the eclectic Eastown. A forty-five minute drive will take you to the beaches of Lake Michigan.

How many students attend Calvin?

Around 4,000 students currently attend Calvin. A little over half of our students are from Michigan, the rest are from out of state or another country. For more info about our student body, see Calvin's Admissions Facts.

Is Calvin a Christian college?

Calvin is part of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU), a group of over 100 schools dedicated to teaching from a Christian perspective.

To be a member of the CCCU, schools must meet several requirements, for instance that all faculty must be committed Christians and the schools must have a Christ-centered mission statement.
