Come to our in-depth Fridays at Calvin visit program and experience Calvin from a student perspective! 

Options for the day include attending chapel, visiting classes, meeting with professors, and information sessions about diversity initiatives, athletics, off-campus programs, and financial aid. 

When to attend

We'd love for guidance counselors and youth pastors to join us on any of the Fridays at Calvin!

The program begins at 8:30 a.m. and will conclude at 3:00 p.m., but we welcome the opportunity to share dinner at a local restaurant with counselors the Thursday evening prior to the program.

Costs

Calvin will reimburse you for much of the cost associated with your visit. However, to qualify for reimbursement you must attend the Fridays at Calvin program at least through the campus tour and coffee time (finishing at 3:00pm). We want you to have the full visit experience!

Lodging: We will arrange up to two nights of lodging, depending on travel needs, at the Prince Conference Center or the Comfort Inn. Double occupancy will be used when appropriate.

Meals: Lunch is provided during the Fridays at Calvin program. You will receive meal tickets to the Calvin dining halls for your remaining meals on campus. We also invite you to share dinner with Calvin admission counselors at a local restaurant the Thursday evening prior to the program.

Airfare: To be reimbursement for the cost of your plane ticket, you must turn in a copy of all travelers’ flight receipts in one packet immediately after the trip. Airfare reimbursement must be requested through Vanessa Abreu prior to the purchase of airline tickets.

Gas mileage: If you are within driving distance of Calvin, we will reimburse you for gas mileage based on the current Calvin mileage rate. Reimbursement must be requested through Vanessa Abreu prior to the visit.
