Steps to apply for international students

These instructions apply to non-Canadian international students and domestic internationals. Canadian? Apply here. U.S. citizen living abroad? See the first-year student steps.

Calvin accepts applications on a rolling basis for international students until April 1. Apply by January 2 and we'll waive your application fee. 

STEP 1

Choose one of the following ways to apply:

• Complete the online application and submit a $35 application fee. 
• Submit the Common Application - use if you are applying to other Common App schools. Includes supplemental application material. 
• Complete a paper application. Contact us if you would like us to send you a paper application. 

STEP 2

Submit your high school transcript, any university transcripts you may have and any National Exam Test Results (if applicable).

STEP 3

Submit an academic recommendation online with your application, or download a .pdf.

STEP 4

Submit applicable test scores (see Testing Guidelines).

STEP 5

Submit one of these two forms for financial aid:

• International Student Application for Financial Aid (if requesting aid) (or download the pdf) 
• International Student Full Pay Agreement (if not requesting financial aid) (or download the pdf)  and supporting financial documents

We do not accept forms from any other sources such as The College Board and we require all supporting documents to be original or certified copies.
