Student Activities hosts events throughout the year, most open to the public. Bring a student to a free movie showing (and stay for the discussion afterwards), a Calvin-sponsored concert downtown, or catch a speaker as part of the Pop Culture Lecture Series. Let them see what Calvin is all about!
If you live in west Michigan (or want to visit!), join the GR chapter of the Calvin Alumni Association for a night out. Past events include ArtPrize, Grand Rapids Ballet, Muskegon Art Museum, and the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre.
Do more for Calvin! And make sure to tell students about the chapter scholarships available in your area.
Help us connect with potential students by hosting a reception or coming to a college fair. Contact Admissions for more information.
This biennial festival is worth a trip even if you don't live near Grand Rapids. Bring a student who is interested in ways grace, love, compassion, and the Christian faith are expressed in the world of popular music.
Kids and students ages 4-18 can come to campus and get their CAMP ON. A variety of camps focus on music, academics, sport, nature and more (and for older students, it's a great way to see if Calvin might be a good fit for them).
