Mission Statement:
The Film Arts Committee seeks to deepen the Calvin community's appreciation of world and independent cinema. Film is a powerful and popular medium that portrays culture in various ways. It is our determination to better decipher and discern what movies tell us and how they reflect human experience. As Christians, we are not to shy away from culture, but should evaluate it--and even enjoy it--with perceptive and careful minds.
