The Commuter Advisory Board (CAB) puts together fun and educational events for all off-campus students. We seek to keep off-campus students connected to the Calvin community through various events. If you have any ideas or suggestions please come to our meetings in the Student Senate Meeting Room from 4:30-5:30 p.m.:

POSTPONED: Landlord/Off-Campus Safety program> This free event will be in the Fishouse. Bring your friends and your questions, as experts in the landlord/tenant rights and on maximizing your safety while living off campus, will be on hand to speak briefly and to field questions from the audience.
Saturday

10:00 a.m.
Caberfae Ski Day, In conjunction with Intramurals. Commuter Student may sign up, the cost for all-day lift ticket and lunch is just $15! Rentals of skis ($12) and blades/boards ($17) are extra. Meet at Caberfae at 10:00 a.m. sharp! Slopes are open until 9:30 p.m.!

film "White Man's Burden" in the Bytwerk Theatre, in conjunction with the Mosaic Community. Free.

4:00 p.m.

Sudoku Tournament in SB010 for the third annual tournament. Co-sponsored by CAB and the Math Department, this event is free and open to all Calvin students. The winning prize to the top Sudokuian at Calvin is a brand new I-Pod Mini!

St. Patrick's Day Decorate Your Own Cookie, in the Student Development Office. Free. Enjoy some delicious cookies and delectable fellowship!
Tuesday

7:30 p.m.
Bounce Back From Spring Party at Bounce USA. First 25 commuters to sign up in the Student Development Office are free, those after must pay $5. Wear socks. Have fun!
Wednesday April 16
5:00 p.m.
Manners and Maintenance program at the Prince Conference Center. Come to the Third annual Manners and Maintenance program to learn how to change a car tire (5-5:30p.m.) and also which fork to use at a nice meal (etiquette instruction with a $20/plate meal, from 5:30-6:30 p.m.). Cost is $10/commuter student; sign up and pay in the Student Development Office.

Wednesday

6:30 p.m.

Spring Banquet at the Bluff. This will be a co-sponsored event with CAB and Knollcrest East and will include a delicious buffet dinner and dance. Get dressed up. Come alone. Or bring a date. Tickets available in the Student Development Office for just $13/person!
