The Festival of Faith & Music exists because music matters. It matters to those of us who have stayed up until the wee hours of the morning, a single song on repeat serving as a salve for our broken hearts. It matters to all who have had a transcendent concert experience, when the distinctions between the audience members and musicians disappear within the harmony of the moment. It matters to artists who know no other way to express the depth of suffering or love or joy other than in song. Music matters because all of these things are good gifts from the Creator, who invites us all to listen, create and critique well.
Watch our Music Matters video series to hear from musicians about why music matters to them. And then join us April 7-9 to continue the conversation.
