Stephen J. Nichols
Stephen J. Nichols (Ph.D., Westminster Theological Seminary) is research professor of Christianity and culture at Lancaster Bible College and Graduate School in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He has written a dozen books, most recently Jesus Made in America: A Cultural History from the Puritans to the Passion of the Christ (IVP Academic) and Getting the Blues: What Blues Music Can Teach Us about Suffering and Salvation (Brazos). He is currently working on a book exploring the intersection of religion and music in twentieth-century American culture.
