Rebekah Farrugia

Rebekah Farrugia is an Assistant Professor of Media Studies in the School of Communication at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo where she teaches a broad range of courses in media theory, production and criticism. Her research focuses on digital culture and the interconnections between gender, technology and popular music. Her work has been published in such journals as Canadian Woman Studies, Current Musicology and the Journal of Popular Music Studies, where she is currently an editorial board member. In her spare time, Rebekah enjoys attending Wilco shows and spending time at Lake Michigan.
