Over the Rhine

The year 2009 finds Over the Rhine celebrating its 20th Anniversary, a significant mile marker of survival in a music industry landscape that has shifted radically during the last two decades. Karin Bergquist and Linford Detweiler, the primary songwriters who have perpetuated OtR's growing legacy, have released more than a fist-full of emotionally rich, literate and critically-acclaimed albums. Among their most recent accolades, Karin and Linford were included in Paste Magazine's list of 100 Greatest Living Songwriters. The band recently returned from performing on an extended songwriting cruise of the Caribbean with Lyle Lovett, Shawn Colvin, John Hiatt, Indigo Girls and others, and continues to perform sold-out concerts across the U.S. and beyond to a growing legion of fans, thanks to the many listeners who have found and made a deep connection with their songs.
