Registration Checklist for Current Calvin Students
April 2008
Make an Appointment with a Faculty Advisor

You must with meet your academic advisor before registering to compile a list of course sections that you may take. Advising will be done by faculty members in their offices on Tuesday, April 22, and Wednesday, April 23. All first-year, sophomore, and junior students must make an appointment with an advisor to plan a selection of courses. To make an appointment, please sign your name on the schedule posted on your advisor's door. Please schedule your appointment at least one day prior to your preferred meeting time. You must meet with the advisor who is listed on your Academic Evaluation Report (AER).

Only your official advisor will be able to grant you access to registration in KnightVision. Please remember to bring your AER with you to your advising appointment.

Please prepare for your advising appointment in advance.
• Use the Schedule of Classes along with your AER and the college catalog to determine a list of appropriate courses.
• Advisors will verify the courses you’ve selected and help you identify alternatives.
• Sophomore and junior students are encouraged to declare a major with their advisor. Declaration forms are available on the web or at the registrar's office.
• Your advisor should verify that you have been advised by marking your record in KnightVision.
