To pre-select Preferred Course Sections before registration begins:

1. Login to KnightVision at http://knightvision.calvin.edu

2. Select the ‘Resources’ Tab (at the top of the screen).

3. Select ‘Registration / Add Classes’ from the Registration list located on the Student Academics module.

4. Choose 'Express registration' or 'Search and register for sections'.

Choose 'Express Registration' if you know the specific course sections that you are registering for. Choose 'Search and Register' to search for open sections of one or more course(s).

5. When prompted, enter your username and password and click .

6. Select Prefered Course Sections

• With Express registration:

  a. Enter either (1) a Synonym and Term for each specific course section you are registering for -or- (2) the Subject, Course Number, Section Letter, and Term for each specific class.
  
  b. When all of your choices have been entered, Click to add these courses to your Preferred Sections list.

• With Search and register for sections:

  a. Enter as much search criteria as you need to find classes and click . You will be provided with a list of courses that match your search criteria. The more specific your search, the faster KnightVision will respond.

  b. Place a check in the ‘Select Sections’ column next to each course for which you would like to register. Click to add these courses to your Preferred Sections list.

**IMPORTANT: You will NOT be registered for course sections in the Preferred Sections list until your select 'RG - Register'. You will not be able to register for courses until your registration time begins.
