Spring 2008:
- Begin thinking about outside funding for your leave project
- Consult grant information on the web, contact Calvin's Grants
Office
- For U.S. citizens planning to go abroad: Consult Fulbright book and begin Fulbright
application if there's an appropriate award. (Also watch for a notice about informational
meeting on this program)
- Consider the NEH Fellowship program if you will be doing humanities research or translations. Proposals
may be submitted online after March 1 (with May 1 deadline).

The Office of Grants and Foundation Relations (OGFR)
helps members of the Calvin College community secure external funding from foundations, corporations,
governmental agencies, and individuals. Under the auspices of both the Provost's Office and
the Development Office, the Office of Grants and Foundation Relations works to obtain funding
for college-wide initiatives as well as for faculty research and departmental programs.
