- The handbook serves the members of the teaching faculty in a number of ways. Its most immediate function is to provide them with information which will facilitate their work as teachers and scholars and which will set forth their personal and professional expectations and obligations as members of the Calvin teaching faculty. The handbook also contains the most important educational and administrative practices and policies of Calvin College.
