Each Spring and Fall Plaster Creek Stewards hosts an event focused on education and action that is open and free to anyone, any age. These events typicallys occur on a Saturday morning in April and October. We start at the Calvin College campus with a short presentation on a topic related to watershed restoration. Then groups are formed and leave to spend a few hours planting, weeding, marking stormdrains, or installing a green infrastructure project. During the year, there are multiple other events that pop up and are advertised on the Plaster Creek Stewards Facebook site, like greenhouse transplanting, large garden plantings and partner sponsored events. We hope to see you at an event soon, and don't forget your favorite work gloves!
