2009 Network Exchange Goals
Participants in this Lilly Network Exchange will obtain an understanding of the history and context of the development of the FEN Document.
Additionally participants will...
- Explore a theological basis for diversifying college campuses;
- Gain a deeper understanding of the innovations and challenges associated with FEN;
- Meet with Calvin personnel responsible for implementing portions of FEN;
- Share ideas and programs designed to increase the presence and sensitivity to diversity from their own campuses;
- Learn of the common barriers to increased diversity experienced by sister colleges and learn how other colleges have worked to overcome those barriers.
- Learn how to avoid burnout and manage the stress often associated with college personnel working to increase the presence and sensitivity to diversity at their own campuses.
