Internet
Locating potential funding sources has become much easier in recent years with Internet resources. The attached list provides links to hundreds of grant-making foundations and organizations that may be searched alphabetically or by discipline.
Search Engines
Several free Web sites allow you to search through thousands of agencies to find the funding source that is appropriate for your needs. Some of the best sites are:

: site includes thousands of funding agencies that are searchable by keyword, subject, geographic area, and so forth.

Search over 77,000 grantmakers or 400,000 grants. Call Lois Konyndyk, Director of Foundation Relations, at x6-8524 for the Foundation Directory Online username and password.

: The online faculty grants directory provides information on over 750 funding sources in the humanities and social sciences.
Names of Calvin faculty members who have received grants from these organizations are listed at the conclusion of each description. You are encouraged to contact them for advice on working with these foundations and/or to request a copy of their successful proposal.
