3.1 DEFINITION
OF TEACHING FACULTY
The teaching faculty
consists of all persons with an appointment to the faculty with one of
the following academic ranks: instructor, assistant professor, associate
professor, or professor.
The faculty consists
of the teaching faculty, the professional librarians, and those members
of the administrative staff who are given faculty status by the procedure
of 1.6.2.
Part-time teachers,
adjuncts, and assistant instructors, although members of the teaching
staff, are not members of the teaching faculty.
