  • creating and organizing slides
  • choosing slide layouts and design backgrounds
  • adding objects to your slides
  • running the presentation
  • packaging your presentation to present on another computer

Word 2007: Working with Tables

Tables help you to easily align and sort data. Upon completion participants will know how to:

  • create, resize and move a table
  • adjust alignment and text wrapping
  • format, merge and split cells
  • insert/delete rows and columns
  • use the table draw tools
  • sort table data
  • create formulas
  • work with borders and shading
  • apply table styles
  • convert a table to text and text to a table

Now that you have some great digital photos on your camera or computer, how can you improve them and show them to your family and friends? In the first part of this session, we will show you how to make good photos look great with some basic editing—using tools that you already have or can be downloaded for free! Secondly, we will show you how to share your photos with others using common photo-sharing web sites.

Themes, styles, shapes and pictures can take your “boring” Word document and make it attractive and appealing. Upon completion participants will know how to:

  • apply, create and modify a style
  • use the styles gallery
  • apply document themes
  • save a new document theme
  • insert clip art, pictures and graphic files
  • position and format pictures and shapes
  • apply special effects to shapes
  • use text boxes
  • align, group, flip and rotate objects
  • layer objects
