Pathways to Understanding Resources

Three students walking on campusThe Office of Pre-College Programs assists churches by raising awareness of funding opportunities on all levels, readying them for potential resources, and making necessary connections that can help each fulfill its mission to children and youth.

Church partners can receive mini-grants to build their capacity for securing resources that support the sustainability of educational and youth development efforts.

Resource Access and Exchange

Calvin College and P2P churches have ideas, materials, speakers and programs that can be shared so that college staff, church leaders and parents can support and learn from one another.

  • Together for Children and Youth Breakfast Roundtables are held monthly at partner churches and present opportunities for sharing of program ideas, networking, and listening and learning from those who are on the front line of youth ministry.

  • Training, Classes and Presentations offer instruction about best practices, current research, and relevant information that will enhance the knowledge and skills needed to support children and youth.

  • Calvin Connection is an electronic list-serve that aims to increase awareness and use of college resources available to P2P churches for the enhancement of youth ministries.
