Founded in 2005, Aspirando Alto seeks to advance the pre-college needs and interests of Hispanic youth and communities. Through this college-school partnership, 7th-10th graders come to Calvin's campus for three days of college exposure and academic engagement. Students have the opportunity to:
take simulated college courses
have first-hand experiences with college faculty
live in the residence halls
eat in the dining halls
Parents join their students for the last day of Conference activities and to attend workshops especially designed for them. This annual conference is typically held at Calvin College in October.
