The Office of Pre-College Programs is an
educational endeavor of Calvin College that invites students of all grade
levels to begin thinking - stretching their minds - about participation in
their communities and in the world, both now and ultimately as adults.

The Office of Pre-College Programs creates
and implements programs for those with whom Calvin has established
partnerships in educational ministry. Many of these partnerships relate to specific churches and ethnic minority populations.
Entrada Scholars Program: An opporunity for college living and learning while
earning college credit!
Excel ACT Tutoring and Mentoring Program: A partnership with five Grand Rapids public high schools providing tutoring (for the ACT) and mentoring for seven weeks during the fall and spring smesters for up to 50 students each semester.
Pathways to Possibilities: (P2P) is a partnership with churches and schools
that works to increase higher education attainment among youth living in
urban and rural communities.

additional programming by connecting with our school partners and church partners.
Academic Content
Experience (ACE) International: Allows international students to be immersed in
American culture while completing academic studies. Participants improve
their English speaking, writing, listening and reading skills through course
content study.
The Summer Academy: With this program rising 10th, 11th, 12th, and
first year college students can explore their individual gifts and readiness
for college.
Summer
Camps at Calvin: Explore a
variety of summer camps offered through various offices and departments at
Calvin.
