A college immersion experience for U.S. and international high school students.

Get a jumpstart on your college experience! Take a Calvin summer class for college credit while getting a preview of college life. Sharpen your study skills while having full access to the library, dining services, computer labs and new Spoelhof Fieldhouse Complex.

At the Summer Academy, you will:

  • Make friends
  • Live in a residence hall and eating in campus dining halls
  • Explore Grand Rapids
  • Participate in service-learning activities in the community and worship at local churches
  • Gain skills and confidence as you prepare for college

New Calvin Grant

Upon successful completion of the Summer Academy, students will receive a Calvin grant equal to the amount they paid for participation in the program, which can be used when they enter Calvin as a full-time college student!

*Dependants of Calvin College faculty and staff who are eligible to receive a tuition waiver are not eligible to receive the Summer Academy grant.
