Emergency Liaisons and Building Safety Committees Mandate

This mandate is the primary communications link between Campus Safety and all building occupants within the department related to weather emergencies, building evacuations and other disasters.

Emergency Liaisons:

Each department has two people designated as Emergency Liaisons. These Emergency Liaisons represent their departments on the Building Safety Committee.

Building Safety Committees:

Each campus building has a Building Safety Committee made up of the department Emergency Liaisons, Building Services Supervisors, an EH&S officer and a Campus Safety representative.
