Sister
to Sister is a student group of women
who seek to develop a platform for women of color who are presently
attending Calvin College. The group consists of African international & African-American female students.
It is a documented fact that women
from these backgrounds face specific cultural challenges while attending
college. Having a group of sisters come together to network and
share ideas and opinions, better strengthens their voices. The goal
is to stratigically find the best way for culturally diverse sisters
to maximize their potential while attending Calvin.
