New Staff Orientation

2009 Fall NSO Schedule

Our New Staff Orientation (NSO) is an 8-week orientation session for new staff sponsored by Human Resources and the Office of the President. It is designed to give new staff opportunities to connect, learn and grow here at Calvin. The group meets once a week for two hours and spends time learning about the mission, resources and individuals of Calvin College. Presenters from across the campus spend time with our new staff talking about various offices, policies and procedures for getting things done at Calvin. Whether the new staff member is brand new to Calvin or a Calvin grad, the orientation is beneficial as these new staff members make new networks across the campus and see the institution from the staff perspective. The total experience provides a wonderful orientation experience for new staff members.

The NSO is held once during the Fall semester and once during the Spring semester.
