Health services we provide
We provide medical and immunization services to all registered students at Calvin College and full-time students at Kuyper College during the regular school year.
Treatment of illnesses and injuries
You can schedule an appointment with us if you have any illness—from a common cold to chronic pain—or if you experience an injury. One of our nurse practioners or doctors will evaluate you and decide upon a course of treatment that fits your needs.

Mental health services
Health services provides assessment and medication treatment for mental health concerns. You may also be referred to the Broene Counseling Center for additional treatment.
Medication services
Health Services carries frequently used, primarily generic prescription medications at relatively low cost. Medications are dispensed as a convenience to students in the context of an office visit where evaluation and monitoring of the medication occurs. In addition, students may fill written prescriptions at local pharmacies. See our referral list for locations.
Laboratory services
Office-based tests for strep, mono, and urinalysis are available on-site. We also use the licensed, certified, and accredited laboratory services of Spectrum Health for additional diagnostic testing, with Health Services operating as a blood drawing satellite. If requested, we can also provide lab draw services for students who need regular blood work.
