Food Request Procedures:
Special Residence Hall Events
- Contact Jessica Berkey, Assistant Manager at Knollcrest Dining Hall at extension 6-7311, or email at: jlh8@calvin.edu.
- Food requests must be submitted to KDH at least 7 days in advance and is subject to approval by Dining Services Manager. Just a reminder, Knollcrest may only supply items that are already in-stock and available for use. We may be unable to supply orders without a minimum quantity or price. A service charge may be applied if the criteria is not met. As a reminder, we are not a grocery store and may not be able to fulfill small measurements or small quantities of items. Special ingredients for recipies that you want to make on your own may require you to go the the local grocery store.
- The names of the students and their student ID numbers must be submited at least 2 days in advance of the event.
- Any equipment or utensils that are borrowed will require $25.00 to be left as a deposit.
- All equipment must be returned to Knollcrest Dining Hall within 24 hours. If a dorm or a floor needs sack lunches for a outing, the sack lunches need to be requested like a retreat. Please do not have each residents ask to have his/her own sack lunch made up.
- All orders must be picked up by 6:00pm, on Monday - Saturday. Knollcrest is closed on Sundays.
