Financial Aid - Student Work Opportunities

On- and Off-Campus Jobs

Calvin offers a multitude of on-campus work opportunities to students. More than 1,800 Calvin students work part-time in various on-campus jobs and many positions are available to incoming students. Most students who have worked in an on-campus position during the previous school year are given the opportunity to return to that job the following year.

Student Employment Services posts current on-campus job openings on KnightVision (available to admitted students). Off-campus positions are also listed.

In most cases, a student working 10 to 12 hours per week will be able to earn $2,300 or more per year from an on- or off-campus job.

Work-Study

Calvin participates in federal and state work-study programs. Earnings from on-campus jobs are received as a paycheck, not posted to tuition accounts. Estimated earnings from on-campus employment will be included in your Calvin financial aid award package. Students do not need to be eligible for work-study in order to work on-campus.
