The scholarship criteria used are applicable for students entering Calvin in the fall of 2009 or later.
Calculating Your Award
Students are selected for Calvin's academic scholarships based on a careful review of the following information:
- Academic records, including GPA (unweighted), academic transcripts and class rank
- Scores from standardized tests (either ACT or SAT)
- The quality and content of the student's written response on the application for admission, detailing involvements, leadership, honors and diversity experiences.

Adding the award values associated with each of these criteria estimates your potential scholarship. To be eligible for any academic scholarship, students must have both GPA and ACT/SAT scores shown on this chart. In cases where your GPA falls within the top two tiers of this chart, but your ACT/SAT scores are below those shown, you will be eligible only for the GPA award (and vice versa).
