Financial Aid - Payment Options

Calvin's commitment to you and your family continues by providing flexible payment options. After your financial aid is credited, the balance due for tuition and room and board is divided into six payments throughout the school year (three each semester). There are no finance charges or fees for this service.

Calvin accepts payment by cash, check, or electronic payment. Credit card payment is not available.

Contact Financial Services if you are having difficulty meeting a payment due date.

Bills and financial statements

Calvin issues two types of statements to each student:

Tuition, Room and Board Statements

  • includes charges for tuition, room, board and course-related fees
  • any financial aid you receive is applied to this account
  • six payments per year are due in September, October, November, January, March and April
  • statements are generated at least three weeks prior to each due date

Miscellaneous Charges Statements

  • non-tuition related fees, such as campus store purchases
  • statements are generated around the 20th of each month, with payment due on the 1st of the following month
  • balance is to be paid in full each month

Both of these statements are provided to you electronically. You will be notified via e-mail that you may view your statements on KnightVision. You may give permission for others (such as your parents) to receive copies of your financial statements through Calvin's e-statement subscription service.
