Merit-Based Scholarships for Transfer Students

Admitted transfer students are considered for merit-based scholarships in amount of $1,000 to $6,000 with selection based on similar criteria used for first year scholarships along with the applicant's college transcript and cumulative GPA. Typically, a previous college GPA of 3.20 or higher is required to be considered for any of the scholarships.

Recipients are selected on a rolling basis beginning February 1 or later as the student is admitted. No further scholarship application is required. To receive maximum consideration, transfer applicants should be admitted to the college by May 1.

Renewability: A transfer student's scholarship will be renewed if the student has maintained a Calvin GPA of at least 3.00 to 3.50 depending on the scholarship level.
