Calvin's international application involves submitting both academic and financial information for review.

Academics Admission:

  1. Completed online International Application, including essays and application fee. You may also download and print the application (.pdf).
  2. High school transcript and/or National Exam Test Results (if applicable)
  3. Academic recommendation
  4. Test Scores from the ACT or SAT
  5. Transcript(s) from any college(s) you previously attended
  6. TOEFL or IELTS scores
  7. Profile of Educational Background Form

Financial Admission: Calvin College provides generous grants, scholarships and on-campus work options for international students but does not have any full-pay opportunities. Students must demonstrate their ability to meet a certain level of financial commitment by completing our Declaration of Finances form (PDF).

We do not accept forms from any other sources such as The College Board and we require all supporting documents to be original or certified copies.

Note: For the purposes of applying and receiving financial aid, Canadian students are not considered "international." Canadian students should follow the guidelines under First-Year Students or Transfer Students.
