Fall 2007 Enrollment Report Highlights:
- Calvin's 2007 fall enrollment, at 4,224, represents an increase of 25 students from last year.
- Calvin welcomed a FTIAC (First Time in any College) class of 1,039 students, an increase of 12 over last year.
- Twenty-three students in the entering class of FTIACs were National Merit Scholars.
- The retention rate of last years' FTIACS (those returning this fall), at 88.6%, is the highest ever.
- The mean High School GPA of the entering class is 3.6, and the median ACT Composite score is 26.
- Just under one-half (47%) of Calvin students are members of the Christian Reformed Church.
- Calvin students come from 48 different states and over 50 different countries.
- Calvin's U.S. ethnic minority population stands at 268 (6.3%), the highest ever.
- Two of Calvin's fastest growing programs are the new International Development Studies Major and the Pre-Seminary track.
