Commemorating John Calvin's years of teaching in the city of Geneva, the Geneva Circle furthers the educational mission of the college through yearly unrestricted gifts to the Calvin Annual Fund.

Simply make a gift to the Calvin Annual Fund at a level of $10,000–$24,999 and you will be included in the Geneva Circle.

Benefits of membership

As a member of the Geneva Circle, you will receive:

  • A personalized membership card which entitles you to a 15% discount at the Campus Store (including online purchases) and the Spirit Shop in the Van Noord Arena
  • An invitation to the yearly gathering of leaders in annual giving, recognizing members of the President's Associates, Geneva Circle and 1876 Society
  • At your request, lunch with a member of the college's cabinet, faculty member or current student
  • Tickets or reserved seats at special campus events when possible (Please inform us if you desire to attend events such as the January Series, the Artist Series, the Oratorio Society's presentation of Handel's Messiah or student performances like Rangeela or Calvin Theatre Company performances.)
  • The Calvin Annual Fund fiscal year-end newsletter highlighting the effects of your generous gifts
  • A listing in the Geneva Circle Honor Roll of Donors, printed in the yearly newsletter.

Annual fund leadership donors are uniquely commited to the mission of Calvin College and the work of the annual fund. Their generous contributions advance Calvin's place as a leader in Christian liberal arts education. Each year, their unrestricted gifts allow the college to meet pressing needs and pursue new programs that directly benefit the student experience.
