William SpoelhofRecognizing the Faithful

The William Spoelhof Society was established in 2001 to recognize those alumni and friends who have committed to carrying forward Calvin’s vision through their planned gifts to the college.

Including Everyone Who Gives

Notify the Office of Gift Planning of your gift and be automatically included in the William Spoelhof Society.

As a member of The William Spoelhof Society you will receive

  • A special semi-annual newsletter for Society members with practical, insightful information about estate planning.

  • A memento inscribed with The William Spoelhof Society logo.

Honoring the President Emeritus

William Spoelhof served Calvin College for 30 years as a professor of history and then as college president. His faithful work, his determination, and his vision for the college shaped the Calvin we know and love today.
