What do you like about media production? There are so many different subjects that I love. And I think with film, there’s a way to combine a lot of the subjects that I love: English with the storytelling, history with context, and psychology and sociology with characters.
What’s the best thing you’ve done at Calvin? I think just the whole experience of living in the dorms. It’s unlike anything I had done. Everything about dorm life was great.
What do you want to do when you grow up? I want to direct films. I’d love to bridge the gap between Christian films and Hollywood blockbusters. I’d like to make Christian themes more accessible. And I’d love to travel the world.
