This booklet lists the professors and staff who are willing to
be invited by churches, schools, and community organizations to speak
on specific topics. To request a copy, call the Calvin Alumni Office at

New Film Forum
West Michigan film buffs will soon have one more place to
satisfy their movie appetites.
Inner Compass
The Inner Compass television interview show airs on PBS station WGVU-TV
throughout southwestern Michigan on Sundays at 7 a.m. Copies of Inner
Compass episodes are available through the Hekman Library and the Calvin
Bookstore. The web site offers a full listing
of Inner Compass episodes.
Summer Camps
and Educational Programs
A number of departments offer day-camps for elementary, middle, or high
school students. A complete list of such camps is published in the spring
of each year.
Entertainment
See the Calvin Calendar for
Theater, Music, and Athletic events on Calvin's campus. Contact the Box
Office for tickets.
Facilities
The Prince Conference Center is
the newest addition to the list of excellent and exciting resources available
to the community. The Conference Center has a wide selection of meeting
rooms and hotel rooms available for rental. To inquire about reservations
for other campus buildings (Chapel, Auditorium), contact the Campus
Events Office.
Lectures
The Calvin Academy for Lifelong Learning (CALL)
sponsors the Noontime Series, a fall and spring lecture series which is
free and open to the public.
Helpers available
The Calvin Service Learning Center sends out
an updated list of off-campus volunteer opportunities for students on
a regular basis. Community organizations can send in their requests to
the Service Learning Center to be included in the monthly list-serve. |
