Calvin's 4th annual Community Partnership Celebration took place on Monday, April 25, 2005, at Home Repair Services of Kent County.

Dennis Sturtevant of Dwelling Place was honored as the 2005 Agent of Renewal.

Several college-community partnerships were highlighted:

Faculty from Calvin's Health, Physical Education, Recreation, Dance and Sports Department - Julie Walton and Brian Bolt - who collaborate with the YMCA on a "Healthy-U" program;

Spanish faculty Marilyn Bierling and student Chrissy Boeder with Andrew Brower at the SOURCE;

Nursing department community partnership coordinator Gail Zandee and the Community Health Workers; and

Student Holly Padding who works with Pastor Andre Daley from Mosaic Life Church on a Math Club at Southeast Academic Center.
