The Church and Community Relations office gives leadership to and collaborates with other college departments and offices in three areas:
- Church comes to Calvin: visits/tours, meetings (classis, pastors),
- Calvin goes to church(es): speakers, preachers, workshops (CICW),
- Calvin's place in the Grand Rapids community: sponsorships, collaborations, schools, neighbors
