Spoelhof Fieldhouse Complex
- The complete square footage of the Spoelhof Fieldhouse Complex is 362,000
- When the entire facility is completed, it will add about 292,000-square feet to the campus—it will add 10 percent to the total square footage of the campus
- The Spoelhof complex will include six classrooms, including a “wet classroom” in the pool
Van Noord Arena
- The arena seating capacity is highly flexible, depending on bleacher configuration, but is expected to be approximately 5,000 for most major events
- Forty percent of the seats are bleachers, and 60 percent of seats have backs
- The lobby is 10 times the size of the original lobby and designed to accommodate large numbers of visitors for many venues at same time
- Four full-sized basketball courts when bleachers are retracted so that men and women, junior varsity and varsity can practice concurrently
- Two new weight room facilities, nine times the size of the original area
- Fitness Center for the general student body, faculty and staff is 10,000 square feet, six times the size of the original weight room
- Athletic weight room for members of Calvin’s 17 varsity teams is 8,000 square feet, four times the size of the original weight room
- Athletic training room is four times the size of former training room
- 10 locker rooms for students and staff
- Two concession stands, including juice and smoothie bar

Venema Aquatic Center
- Olympic-sized, 50-meter pool with moveable bulkheads accommodates multiple events at the same time
- Pool accommodates 22 lanes at 25 yards each for laps or racing
- Pool has 850,000 gallon capacity
- High-tech filtration system in pool
- Spectator seating capacity is 500
- Current pool is as wide as the former pool was long
- Pool is 15 feet at diving end, four feet deep in the middle for swimming lessons and instruction and seven feet deep at the starting blocks
- Pool has four diving boards: two at one meter and two at three meter
Huizenga Tennis and Track Center
- Four full-sized tennis courts inside a 200-meter track
- Multi-sport use: tennis, track, baseball, softball, volleyball
- Over two acres inside for multi-use capability
- Pre-fabricated steel building to provide protection from inclement weather
- Heated and ventilated; not air conditioned
Hoogenboom Health and Recreation Center
- Three full-sized courts for recreational basketball

- Dance studio is three times the size of former studio
- Health Services exam rooms, travel services and offices for campus-wide services
