The Interim Term Committee is charged by the faculty with review both of the content of specific courses and of the overall distribution of Interim course offerings. Questions that arise will be discussed with instructors and department chairs, usually by the ITC member who has been assigned as liaison with several departments. Courses will be approved provisionally when the committee's questions have been answered; formal committee approval is normally given to all proposed courses as a group to be sure that issues of balance and level have been appropriately resolved.
