CCCS Scholar Bruce Berglund in Eastern Europe
The second phase of The Christianity in Eastern Europe Project was held in Warsaw, Poland, June 21-25, 2006. Bruce Berglund (Calvin College), Brian Porter (University of Michigan), and Andreas Kossert (German Historical Institute, Warsaw), led a collaborative effort of American and European scholars aimed at furthering the historical study of the Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox churches in 19th- and 20th-century Eastern Europe. The conference was co-sponsored by the German Historical Institute.
