Engineering Resume Book

You may choose one of the following three resume samples to create your resume. When you've selected your preferred sample, rename the document to your "Last name, First name resume.doc," then make your changes.

If you already have a resume that you want to use rather than using a template, we can only accept resumes that are: in a widely recongized font like Times New Roman, Arial, or Calibri; one page long; and in Word (.doc or .docx).

Engineering Resume Deadlines

Sept. 19	Career development presentation in Senior Design class
	Need help with writing your resume? Come to walk-in hours, weekdays from 3:30-4:30 at Career Development. We added extra, extended walk-in hours for engineers on on Sept 20 & 21 from 3:00-5:00.
Sept. 23	Hard copy of first draft of resume due in Senior Design class
Sept. 30	Critiqued resumes returned to students in class
Oct. 3	2nd draft resume in MS Word format due via email to career@calvin.edu with "engineering resume" in the subject line
Oct. 7	Critiqued 2nd drafts e-mailed back
Oct. 10	Final resume due, must be uploaded to CalvinLink (Directions for using CalvinLink will help you create an account and upload your resume)
