What is CalvinLink?
CalvinLink is an online system for posting jobs created by the National Association of Colleges and Employers, Direct Employers and by Symplicity.
Through this system, job seekers can:

Search for positions based on a variety of criteria.

Set up job search agents, which send out an e-mail any time a job that meets specified criteria is posted.

Store resumes and other documents, and make them available to employers who are seeking candidates.

Schedule on-campus interviews.
- Types of positions posted on CalvinLink: full-time, part-time, internships, babysitting, yardwork, tutoring, etc. Note: faculty and staff positions at Calvin are posted through Calvin's HR department.
How do I register for CalvinLink?

To create a new account, go to the job seeker log in.

If you are a current Calvin student, use your Calvin username and password to log in

If you are an alum, click the register tab and fill out the requested information. To confirm that you provided a valid e-mail address, the system will send you a confirmation e-mail. Then, we will approve your account, and you'll receive another e-mail with a password.
How do I search for a job?
- Use the Quicklinks on your homepage to search by position type.
- Or, click on "jobs." A list of jobs will appear.You can either do a quick search using the options provided, or you can click the "Advanced Search" tab for a more detailed search.
How do I search and sign up for an on-campus interview?
- Click “jobs” near the top of the screen. Under the "Show Me" drop down menu, select "All Interviews" and then click "Search."
- Click on the "Job Title" to find out more about the position. The date of the interview will also appear on the right side of this screen.
- If you wish to request an interview, on the upper right side of the screen is an "Application Status" box. You must select the resume you wish to use to apply, and then click "Submit." The employer will then be able to review your application and decide whether or not to interview you.
- When you log back into the system, you'll be able to see your interview status under the "Interviews" tab. The 3 possible statuses are "pending, invited, or not invited." If your status is "pending," the employer either has not yet reviewed your application or has not yet decided whom to invite.
- If the sign up period has begun and you've been invited for an interview, you'll be able to select the time of your interview slot. You can also decline the interview from this tab.
- If you are selected for an interview, you should receive an e-mail from the system 2 days prior to the start of the sign up day letting you know that you've been selected and providing you with the date that you can sign up.
