Campus Safety - SERVICES INFORMATION

LOCATION:

The Campus Safety Department is located on the second floor of the Mail & Print Services Building, located on the north end of campus, west of the Physical Plant building. Our entrance is on the east side of the building. Our office hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A call box is available at our entrance door for after hour inquiries.

PHONE NUMBERS:

Our desk can be reached during business hours at extension 66451 or at 526-6451 from off campus.  After hour calls and calls for service should be directed to the Campus Safety Dispatcher at extension 66452 or from off campus at 526-6452. For emergency calls dial 33333 from any campus phone to be connected to the Campus Safety Dispatcher.

VEHICLE PERMITS:

Anyone who wishes to obtain a permit for their vehicle can either come to the Campus Safety Office during business hours, or they can register their vehicle anytime on line by going to the Campus Safety web page and click on the ONLINE VEHICLE REGISTRATION FORM LINK.

TICKET APPEALS:

Anyone who wishes to appeal a ticket can either come to the Campus Safety Office during business hours, or they can file the appeal anytime on line by going to the Campus Safety web page and click on the ON LINE PARKING TICKET APPEAL FORM LINK.

PAYING TICKETS:

Anyone wishing to pay parking tickets can pay the ticket at the Financial Services Office in the Spoelhof Center. 

TEMPORARY PARKING PERMITS:

Temporary parking permits for all students, faculty and staff can be obtained in the Student Life Office or at the Campus Safety Office during business hours.

RAPID BUS DISCOUNT CARDS:

Students who want to obtain a Rapid Bus Discount Card can get them in the Service Learning Office in the Commons Annex.  Faculty and Staff need to pick the card up at the Campus Safety Office.  Just a reminder that the first card is free, and replacement of lost cards is $20.00. 

LOST AND FOUND:

Any found items for the Lost and Found can be turned into the Student Development Office in the Commons Annex.  The Lost and Found will still be maintained with the Campus Safety Office in the Mail and Print building.  Direct any inquiries regarding lost items to our desk during business hours.

KEY REQUESTS AND PICKUP:

Key requests can be emailed to: safety@calvin.edu

Pick up of key requests and key check-outs will be at the Campus Safety Office.
