Randy Wolthuis (rwolthui@calvin.edu), MSW, PhD, Licensed Psychologist Randy earned his Ph D from Michigan State University and an MSW from the University of Michigan. He is a fully licensed psychologist and licensed marriage counselor. His undergraduate degree was completed at Calvin College. Primary interests include working with people struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and identity issues. He also conducts premarital counseling. Randy is the director of the Broene Counseling Center. |

Barb Veeneman (bveenema@calvin.edu), Barbara Veeneman is our Office Manager. She was an Art-Education major at Calvin. She schedules appointments, answers the phone and oversees the organization and management of the Center operations. Her friendly manner will help you feel safe and welcomed when you seek our services. |

Cindy earned her Ph D in Clinical Psychology from Purdue University, an MSW from Michigan State University, and a BA from Calvin College. She is a certified social worker and a fully licensed psychologist. Counseling interests include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, women's issues, relationship problems, spiritual issues, substance abuse, and cultural issues. Cindy also teaches a class each semester for the Psychology Department. |

Dan joined the Broene Counseling Center in January 2002 after working as a therapist and counselor at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services for over 20 years. He enjoys working with students on a wide range of issues including, depression, self esteem, men's issues, identity, relationships and trauma recovery. His wealth of experience also includes counseling persons with learning disabilities, "missionary kids," and others making cultural adjustments. Dan's hobbies include reading and running. |

Rick Baez (rb27@calvin.edu), Rick Baez joined the Broene Counseling Center family in 2007. Rick earned his Masters Degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling, and his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Azusa Pacific University in Southern California. Some of his clinical interests include relationship issues, mood disorders, ADHD, and trauma. He is a husband to a Proverbs 31 wife and father of three girls. His other passions include integrating his faith into practice, being with his family, reading, and fitness. |

Irene Kraegel (ibk2@calvin.edu) Irene Kraegel graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2003 with a doctorate degree in clinical psychology, having completed her bachelors degree in sociology at Wheaton College. She is a fully licensed psychologist. Particular areas of interest include trauma, cultural adjustment, anxiety, and relationships. |

Sarah TenBroek (stenbr65@calvin.edu) Sarah joined Calvin College as a counselor in the Broene Counseling Center in August of 2008. She earned her Master's Degree in Social Work from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor's of Social Work from Calvin College. She is a Licensed Social Worker, whose special counseling interests include domestic and dating abuse, sexual assault, depression, anxiety and college adjustment issues. She is also the Chair of the Sexual Assault Prevention Team at Calvin.
