Requirements for general admission
Either a 20 ACT or a 940 SAT (470 critical reading, 470 math). Calvin does not require the writing portion of the ACT or the SAT.
In addition students must have completed three years of college preparatory math (typically algebra I, algebra II, and geometry).
See the current catalog for a complete listing of admission requirements.
The fact that a student may not meet one or more of the minimum requirements does not necessarily mean that he or she will not succeed at Calvin. Students with lower grades or scores, or with fewer college preparatory courses are still invited to apply, and will be considered individually by the Committee on Admissions. Please contact your Admissions Counselor for more information.
