Calvin College, recognized worldwide as a center of faith-based teaching and scholarship, offers students who live internationally an exceptional educational experience. Among our 4,200 students, Calvin welcomes over 300 students from Australia to Zimbabwe as their place to call "home" for their educational years and to prepare for their future careers. Also included in our international community at Calvin College, are nearly 100 American students who live abroad.

If you are not certain that you will apply to Calvin and want more specific information about the College, please fill out the International Student Information Form.

US citizens living internationally should follow all the same admissions and financial aid processes as other US citizens but use the International admissions office staff as your contact point.

U.S. Citizens Living Internationally

You will need to complete the International Application (apply online or print a .pdf), however, you should follow all the same admissions and financial aid processes as other US citizens.

International Citizens

Applying to Calvin involves providing both academic and financial information to review. Make sure to check out Calvin's admissions standards. All admissions material (academic & financial) must be received by Calvin for initial review by April 1, 2007.

We do not accept forms from any other sources such as The College Board and we require all supporting documents to be original or certified copies.

Admissions for new international students is for fall semester only. Transferring mid-year is only open to international students transferring to Calvin from another American institution.

Calvin College provides generous grants, scholarships and on-campus work options for international students but does not have any full-pay opportunities.
