How to Apply: Canadian Students

In order to apply to Calvin, submit the following:

  1. Completed online application, including essays and application fee. For a paper application, contact us or print a .pdf.
  2. High school transcript *
  3. Academic recommendation *
  4. Test Scores from the SAT or ACT
  5. Transcript(s) from any college(s) you previously attended. An official transcript is required for transfer credit evaluation.

*Forms are also available as part of the online application.

Apply before January 1 and we'll waive your application fee!

Admission Standards: Canadians

  • Cumulative average grades for Grades 9-12 of 65-73%
  • ACT or SAT scores: see below
  • 3 years of university prep math
  • High school diploma or equivalent degree (GED)
  • These are the minimum requirements for admission. A first-year student profile reflects the middle 50% of our students.

The writing sections of the ACT and SAT are not required.

The Committee on Admissions will review applicants who fall below the GPA and ACT/SAT requirements on an individual basis.

Application Deadlines

Completed applications are considered on a rolling basis until the deadlines below. For maximum scholarship consideration, apply by February 1.
